why did the Domomo run home from work?

I ran/jogged (for the most part) home from work today. Total time : 1h 07m

(1) 8:15pm (0:00) – Purchased a 1L Pocari Sweat at the 7-11 across from work, shoved it in my bag and started my jog. The streets were quite crowded the first five minutes, but cleared up pretty soon.
(2) 8:35pm (0:15) – Reached Tai Koo Shing. Made a pit stop at a 7-11 and bought 1L of water (as my Pocari Sweat was done).  Making good time, but its really really hot.
(3) 8:?? pm (0: ? ? ) – Uphill. Up a big big hill. Water was done as well, no 7-11s in sight…..
(4) 8:55 pm (0:40) – Finally made it to the top of the hill, still no 7-11s or Circle-K’s around. Feeling slightly dehydrated (or maybe its hunger I can’t really tell at this point)
(5) 9:22 pm (1:07) – Had to slow down and consult GoogleMaps near Chai Wan MTR station. Was forced onto a slightly complicated pedestrian overpass network. Eventually got out without getting too lost. I thought about stopping at one of the several 7-11s I passed by, but I was feeling the liquid in my stomach as I ran so decided not to. Sprinted the last 200m

All in all, an interesting experience. I think I learned two very important lessons. First is that I should stock up on liquids at the Circle-K at Shau Kei Wan right before the big hill as that whole stretch of road is empty. I should be better prepared for the big hill between Shau Kei Wan and Chai Wan, it was grueling and for the second half of the hill I pretty much slowed down to a walking pace. Secondly, I ran with my backpack (had rain gear, and clothes and my water). I should ditch the backpack for a pouch (I need to put my wallet and phone somewhere). Luckily my backpack was comfortable.

And now, the question you’ve all been asking…
[22:40] [Ci] what possessed you to run home?
[22:40] [Cokematic] i dunno… wanted to see if I could do it?
    [22:41] [Ci] lawl

    And there you have it.
